Connected to the house
A wall-mounted arrangement places the shaded area beside the interior living space. The attachment, doors, roofline and water management all belong in the site review for this kind of layout.
A wall-mounted pergola creates a defined terrace directly beside the home.

The Miramar pergola extends out from the home, making the terrace feel like a natural next room. Its charcoal frame contrasts with the light house walls and the green planting around the patio.
The published project describes an 18-by-13-foot wall-mounted structure with a slatted side panel and LED lighting. Overhead louvers define the roof plane; the side slats add another layer to the space without turning it into a closed room.
Below the pergola, the visual pattern of pale paving and green joints continues the lines of the structure. The combination shows how a restrained frame can sit comfortably within a leafy residential backyard.

The slatted panel changes the experience along one edge. It gives the seating area a backdrop while keeping a rhythm of openings toward the garden.
LED lighting is part of the published pergola installation. Including power and lighting in the original plan keeps the overhead structure visually simple.
